SPACE SIREN
Space Siren | DGDABE has been released at the yearly Subroutine X Lepel extravaganza, The Sound of Young Holland XIII, during Eurosonic, on January 19th 2023, at the infamous Kult bar. Kult is depicted on the record sleeve, the original picture being taken during a memorable Space Siren show in 2012, by an unknown photographer. The sleeve image was made using 16973 cross-stitches, 59 colours and 1 golden thread.
Space Siren’s personnel, Gwendolien Douglas, Aico Turba & Ineke Duivenvoorde are joined by Howrah’s Cees van Appeldoorn & Bart Schotman to fill the gap Corno has left behind.
Now five, the band is a celebration of music, friendship, a couple of Fenders and an awful lot of guitar pedals. Together they’ll play Space Siren’s outtakes, some (g)old ones and brand new Howrah songs.
